BSS offer a range of alarm monitoring services, including:
- BT RedCare - The BT RedCare network is used to send activation signals from the alarm control panel via a RedCare STU to a dedicated Alarm Receiving Centre who then contact keyholders and police.
- BT RedCare GSM - This system is designed to give dual signalling and reduce policed false alarms. A signal is sent to the monitoring station and keyholders are notified. If a second device on a different circuit is activated this then confirms movement in the protected premises and is passed to the police as a Confirmed Alarm Activation.
- Digital Communicator - These devices report alarm activations to an Alarm Receiving Centre via a BT telephone line. Keyholders and police can then be alerted.
- Digital Speech Diallers - These devices deliver a pre-recorded message to nominated keyholders (this can include mobile phone numbers) alerting them to alarm activations.
- Remote Resetting - In certain circumstances, this facility enables an alarm to be reset without the need for an engineer to attend site.
- Keyholding Services - BSS can arrange a professional key holding service and provide personnel to attend site on your behalf in the event of an activation.
A printed report giving details of activations and setting/unsetting times can be produced.
